MAPED HELIX GRAFFITI DESIGN BY STOURBRIDGE COLLEGE PUPILS

In search of local young talent, Maped Helix teamed up with Stourbridge College in a project which tasked art and design pupils with designing an eye-catching masterpiece to display at its headquarters in Kingswinford.

The market-leading stationery provider called upon art students aged 16-19, to let their imaginations run free and design a colourful piece of street art with the hopes of bringing their designs to life on the walls of the Maped Helix offices.

Chloe Worrall and Molly Wilks (aged 19), were announced winners of the project, thanks to their outstanding design and were presented with £50 worth of stationery and colouring products each as a thank you for their fantastic work. The girls’ design has been recreated on the ‘Apple Green’ office wall by local graffiti artist, Andy Mills.

Gray Richmond, UK Managing Director at Maped Helix, said: “We were blown away by all the designs we received and it was such a difficult decision picking a winner as all the pupils at Stourbridge College are clearly extremely talented.

“Seeing the winning design by Chloe and Molly brighten up the wall of our HQ has had the exact effect we were hoping for when we set this partnership up. The bold creativity demonstrates exactly what we stand for here at Maped Helix and we’d like to thank everyone who took part.”
