Get creative to celebrate National Best Friends Day!

We’ve teamed up with The Week Junior Magazine to launch a competition to celebrate National Best Friends Day on 8th June!

We want your help in highlighting the importance of reconnecting with friends we haven’t seen for a while and the positive impact that socializing has on our mental health.

All you need to do is click here to print off a blank front cover of The Week Junior. You can then use this as a frame to draw a picture of yourself with your best friend to celebrate your friendship. The picture could be of the two of you, and you could include what you like most about each other, your similarities or differences, how you first met or a favourite memory together. Your friend picture should then be emailed, with your contact details, to by Friday 18th June. We will accept best friend pictures that are not on the TWJ cover template, should access to a printer be an issue.

The lucky winner will receive prizes for themselves and their best friend! Including annual subscriptions to The Week Junior and a Maped Helix stationery bundle worth £40 each. The Maped Helix bundle will include Maped Color-Peps colouring pens and pencils, plus Helix Oxford school stationery. The two runners up will receive Maped Helix stationery bundles worth £25.

It’s well known that creativity and friendship have a positive effect on our wellbeing… so get drawing and socializing to give yourself a boost!
